The Search...Local or National
At The Beckham Group, we adapt our search process to reflect our client companies’ varying needs. At times, when requested, the focus of our search will be limited to the area where your needs exist. This is the case where there is a need for someone to come on board with a keen sense for the specific market to be targeted, and especially when existing relationships with potential buyers is viewed to be a major plus.

In many instances, because of a client company’s commitment to hiring goals related to a "balanced work force," it may be important to do a regional search or perhaps even a national search. We are able to appropriately devote the time, talent, and money necessary to fill key positions which represent the vital interest of our clients.

The Search...Retained vs. Contingency
Our approach to working with your company would be on a retained basis when the search request is directed toward top management hires. When the search request is directed toward middle management or the account executive levels, it would be on a contingency basis. It would never cost you to look at a candidate on this basis. The only time an invoice would be sent for a contingency search is when our candidate is hired.

The Selection Process
We hold a tremendous respect for the value of your time, knowing how busy you are. This will always be reflected through the following services, which are offered under our Standard Contingency Agreement:

  • Face-to-face interview or (if not feasible) in-depth telephone interview prior to scheduling initial interview.
  • Thoroughly prepare each candidate before beginning the interview process.
  • Schedule interviews for only those candidates who fit your profile.
  • Provide reference checks to the extent requested.
  • Consultation on compensation packages.
  • Remain involved throughout the entire process, including the formal offer.
  • Resignation and counter-offer counseling.
  • Post-hire consultation for both client and candidate.
